I have always been skeptical when companies change names. Often, one unpronounceable but familiar name is replaced with something less pronounceable and completely unfamiliar. I’ve always felt that customers are right to wonder what’s in it for them.
When I started my independent practice more than a decade ago, I chose to operate under the somewhat unpronounceable and entirely unimaginative name of “John G. Roeller, financial person.” This made sense initially for a service professional opening a new, independent practice. Since that time, my team has grown to include my full-time assistant Sadie Gibson and a new part-time director of client service. We three work together with a team of investment research, technology, and client care specialists at LPL Financial to help support our clients’ financial service needs.
As our practice grows and we expand the range of services we can offer, it is time for a new name to reflect the team of people here supporting you. Welcome Latona Wealth Partners.
And, to answer my inner skeptic about what this new name means, here’s what you can expect:
- More people in your corner supporting you
- More frequent contact to help keep you up-to-date
- New communication tools to help us stay in touch
- A new calendar on our website that makes it easier to schedule time together
- A new office location to help us meet safely when we’re ready to get together again
I’m excited to share with you all that the new year brings and look forward to catching up soon. As always, I’m standing by if you have any questions or would like to discuss any changes in your financial situation. Schedule a time to catch up here...
