John G. Roeller, CFP®, is the Founder and Principal of Latona Wealth Partners. Specializing in financial planning and investment management, John draws on his deep experience to guide clients onto a path to reach their individual goals.
John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) as a Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honoree. Soon after graduation, John worked in Minneapolis for IDS Financial Services (now Ameriprise), where he began a career in finance. Later, he took a position in Seattle as a manager of business development for Safeco’s Life and Investment Division. He went on to work as Regional Vice President of Sun Life Financial, specializing in retirement strategies. In 2013, John received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, an achievement that represents his fiduciary commitment and rigorous preparation.
John enjoys helping clients feel confident with their finances through thoughtful planning. He develops meaningful relationships with clients, allowing them to talk openly about tough subjects such as money, death and taxes, and he encourages clients to keep their dreams alive. A gifted listener, John is known for his patience and non-judgmental approach. Translating the complicated language of taxes, investments and retirement into everyday language, John strives to help clients thoroughly understand their finances as they navigate important decisions.
John and his wife, Lori, work closely together at Latona Wealth Partners. He and Lori have two daughters, Emma and Luci. They are all passionate soccer fans, supporting Seattle Sounders, OL Reign and Liverpool FC. John loves to ride his bicycle, ski and cook.
